FAQs

1. Will this be remote or in-office?
These opportunities will be a hybrid of both remote and in-office in the studio location that you are based in.

2. If remote, can I be based anywhere?
We can only accept apprentices that either live in the city or are open to relocation to the city where the studio apprenticeship is being held.

3. After the apprenticeship, what happens?
The apprenticeship is a four-week program to learn our tools, workflow and team here at FuseFX. At the end of the program, each apprentice will be evaluated on their time during the apprenticeship. Those who are successful will be offered contracts to become junior artists within the studio. There is a possibility of moving to other facilities or potentially traveling to where the work is. We hope to grow artists to become long-term employees within FuseFX.

4. Will you consider international students?
We will consider international students that have received their OPT work post graduate Visa.

5. What to expect curriculum wise?
You can expect a mix of practical tool-based training, artistic training, as well as overall skills to be successful at FuseFX. You will learn from multiple senior staff as well as be paired with a mentor.

6. When will you offer the apprenticeship again?
We can’t guarantee a timeframe, but hope to offer it annually during the Summer or Fall – likely the next one would be mid-late 2023.
