James Yates is a VFX Producer at FuseFX, with experience spanning across episodics, feature films, commercials, and video game work. At FuseFX, his recent projects include 13 Reasons Why, American Crime Story: The Assasination of Gianni Versace, Feud: Bette and Joan, and Let It Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992.
Prior to joining the FuseFX team, James began his professional career as an artist, both as a Flame assist and as a freelance illustrator. Throughout his career, he has not only worked on features such as Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War, Hateful Eight, and Inside Llewyn Davis, ad campaigns for GE, Infiniti, Farmer’s Insurance, and Hotels.com, and the video game Quake Champions, but has moved from New York To Los Angeles and worked his way up to the VFX Producer position he holds today.
Utilizing skills from each aspect of his varied history in the industry, James is able to be the ideal producer for every project he works on. From his ability to easily navigate client relations and keep cool under pressure, his production skills are left unmatched.
